Combining innovation with excellence, we are the team behind award winning game Phantom: Covert Ops and Fracked. Our AAA experience and sensibilities, alongside bespoke VR technologies, give us the skillset, processes and creativity to deliver innovative, high production games for all VR platforms. We’ve got several exciting projects planned for the year and beyond – we can’t wait to show you more…

Our projects continue to push forward the boundaries of VR and we’re looking for talented people to help us turn them into a reality. Our talented studio now has over 100 people and has been assembled from world-leading games developers and publishers.

THE ROLE

As our publishing arm and portfolio of games continue to grow, we are on the search for a Video Creative. The successful applicant will create outstanding trailers and video content to support our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create trailers and videos for marketing use from brief to final product, for our games and company marketing efforts.
  • Explore and build creative routes in close collaboration with other team members, through ideation, storyboarding etc.
  • Explore and iterate when developing video content, building upon the brief, creative challenges and stakeholder feedback.
  • Develop different formats, cutdowns, localised versions and creative executions etc. as required.
  • Support the Capture Specialist with gameplay capture as required.
  • Manage personal workflow and ensure key stakeholders are aware of pending timelines.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a video creative, editor, or similar within the games, entertainment or creative marketing industries.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creation and edit of a diverse range of trailers and videos for marketing/promotional use, through brief, storyboarding, and final product.
  • Expert use of Final Cut/Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Highly collaborative, comfortable iterating through feedback from both commercial and creative stakeholders.
  • Efficient working to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • An effective and personable communicator across different disciplines and seniorities.
  • An avid gamer, who is knowledgeable and passionate about video games.

In addition, as we expand our creative team’s skillsets, we’d be especially interested in someone who can bring expertise in one or more of the following:

  • Developing motion graphics and supers using After Effects
  • Live action and camera work.
  • Working with greenscreens/VR mixed reality trailers.
  • Capturing gameplay in Unreal and/or Unity platforms.

Benefits

We’re one of the world’s largest VR developers and publishers. Our recent titles include the multi-award-winning ‘Phantom: Covert Ops’, ‘Far Cry: Dive into Insanity’ a location-based VR collaboration with Ubisoft, and trailblazing PS VR action adventure ‘Fracked’. With multiple other games in development, and with our recently announced third party publishing initiative in full swing, we can’t wait to show you what else we’re up to.

The studio encourages an open and diverse culture, where you’re empowered to explore ideas and put your own stamp on projects. We also offer some great perks, including flexible hours, duvet days, and health insurance.

The publishing team is a growing part of nDreams. We are a friendly bunch who “muck in” when needed and work collaboratively – both between ourselves and the talented dev teams we work alongside. Despite our humble resources, we strive to develop campaigns that would make AAA publishers envious – we would love to find someone who can help us achieve this, as well as bringing along new ideas and perspectives.

This is a permanent, full time role based in our studio in Farnborough, UK, but with a unique Flex+ policy that incorporates flexible, hybrid working options between home and studio. We are within easy commuting distance from both London and Guildford. Salary is competitive and dependent on your experience.
