Strategic Partnership Lead for Gaming & Identity

We are looking for a Strategic Partnership Lead to advance Gaming & Identity initiatives related to Metaplex’s mission. This leader will be responsible for setting the overall vision, overseeing partner relationships, and managing day-to-day operations for the vertical. This role reports to the Head of Partnerships.

About Partnerships
As part of the Partnerships organization, you will be laser focused on informing and driving product adoption across priority partner segments. You will be the face of Metaplex Studios to an ecosystem of creative, media, and technology entities looking to web3 solutions in order to grow their businesses. You will have the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of partners, and have the ability to apply and hone business skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You'll work on negotiating agreements with partners, as well as managing highly strategic projects cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure our partners are positioned for success via Metaplex Studio’s products and services.

Requirements
This is a fully remote position; however, candidate must be able to work US hours.
Minimum qualifications:

  • ~10+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, or broadcast media
  • Experience in online business development and deal negotiation
  • Strong networks across media, entertainment and/or tech networks
  • Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building business via C-level or executive leadership engagement internally and across partner organizations
  • Experience / ability to navigate highly complex partner organization systems with ambiguous non-linear decision making processes.
  • Experience in project management and ability to work with multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently
  • Outstanding consultation and analytical skills regarding deal, technical, and financial issues
  • A proven operational leader with an ability to bring together diverse global teams, united toward a common goal
  • A strategic operator with an ability to develop long-term vision without sacrificing the execution of short-term goals
  • Dynamic, agile, and flexible with the desire and ability to build and implement new models to creatively solve old and new problems in a fast-paced Web3 environment
  • Analytical and innovative; able to gather, analyze, and interpret data to track progress and execute against long-term goals
